Op 19 maart organiseert de activiteiten commissie een volleybal toernooi voor alle leden.

Het toernooi begint `s Middags om 14:00 uur voor de jeugd tot 16 jaar en `s avonds om 18.30 uur voor de rest van de vereniging. Voor dit toernooi zijn ook de sponsoren uitgenodigd.

Je kunt je aanmelden via het inschrijfformulier in dalzicht (deze hangt in de zaal achter de tribune) of telefonisch via een van de contactpersonen.

Beste volleyballers,

We zitten met elkaar in een bijzondere situatie. Door het Corona-virus staat het dagelijkse leven behoorlijk stil. Mensen werken thuis, kinderen mogen niet meer naar school en we moeten zoveel mogelijk binnenblijven. Dit betekent ook dat we niet meer mogen volleyballen. Hierdoor is het seizoen vroegtijdig beëindigd.

Via deze weg willen we jullie op de hoogte brengen van de huidige situatie en over wat ons te wachten staat voor de toekomst.

1. Trainingen en wedstrijden: de trainingen en wedstrijden zullen dit seizoen niet meer hervat worden. De NEVOBO komt deze week met een besluit over de competitie-indeling voor volgend seizoen. Aangezien we tot tenminste 1 juni 2020 niet meer bijeen mogen komen, is dit seizoen voorbij. 2. Activiteiten voor de jeugd: helaas komen ook alle activiteiten voor onze jeugdleden te vervallen. Het jeugdkamp zal verplaatst worden naar volgend seizoen. 3. Activiteitencommissie: afgelopen seizoen is er een nieuwe activiteiten commissie gevormd. Hessel Homme Riemersma heeft een aantal leden bereid gevonden om samen met hem activiteiten te organiseren ten behoeve van onze vereniging. Ook deze activiteiten komen helaas te vervallen. De belangrijkste zijn: de voorjaarsactie, parkeren Lambertusmarkt en het eindtoernooi (BBQ).

4. Voorbereidingen volgend seizoen: het bestuur en de commissies zijn ondanks de huidige teleurstellingen met volle enthousiasme bezig met de voorbereidingen op het nieuwe seizoen. De Jeugdcommissie en de Technische commissie werken op dit moment aan de teamindeling. Wanneer deze bekend is dan zullen we jullie hierover informeren. Normaal gesproken starten de eerste trainingen dan op maandag 17 en woensdag 19 augustus 2020. Maar dit geheel afhankelijk van de situatie omtrent het Corona-virus en de maatregelen hiertegen.

Na een abrupt einde komt er straks ook weer een nieuw volleybalseizoen. En ik hoop jullie dan in een goede gezondheid te mogen verwelkomen op de sportvloer. Graag wil ik namens het bestuur iedereen bedanken die zich afgelopen seizoen heeft ingezet voor onze mooie vereniging en die dit nog doen. Het zijn er te veel om allemaal op te noemen. En dat is mooi. Want samen staan we sterk. Ik hoop dat we ook volgend seizoen mogen rekenen op jullie inzet.

De Nevobo heeft bekend gemaakt dat alle wedstrijden in ieder geval t/m 31 maart zijn afgelast.
Daarnaast hebben ze het advies uitgebracht om alle trainen af te gelasten.

Het bestuur van DIOS heeft besloten om het advies van de Nevobo op te volgen, waardoor alle trainingen in ieder geval de komende 2 weken zijn geannuleerd.
